Bola Felt’s expressive felted shade features a pliable and reversible structure with two layers of wool inside and out. Bola felt is available in 24" and 32" sizes. Its shade playfully rests on top of Bola's opal glass globe, where it cants and tilts to take on various personalities. Bola Felt casts up to 1000 lumens of warm and dimmable LED light. Its thick 100% wool shade material has excellent acoustical properties that can dampen sound and make hospitality spaces feel warm quiet and inviting. 

I led the development and  production of the Bola Felt shade, working with suppliers and manufacturers both domestically and abroad to get just the right process and materials to hone and develop this design into a manufactured product.
